I thought I would share this sweet, little dressing table chair. I have had this piece for several years…waiting out in our garage for some much needed attention. Here it is ….
…in its completed state. Although I am not the best upholsterer with decorative nail heads and have one finger wrapped up with two band-aids at the moment…… I think it came out just fine:)! I kept the wood finish and the fabric in neutrals, not only to allow the nail heads to “pop,” but to keep it versatile in using it in other areas of our home, if need be.
Here is a picture of the “before”……
I just love the, overall, shape of this chair! And, although I love vintage and sometimes try to keep some original elements, I felt this piece needed a complete overhaul. It was not in good condition. The fabric was a vinyl-type material, and the seat needed lots of padding to make it comfortable and usable.
I am joining White Wednesday at Faded Charm Cottage this week. Please join us:)!
Have a wonderful week, everyone:)!
